Simon Tegala is an artist based in London.
Tegala works across a range of media from drawing, photography, sculpture, video, performance and digital based artworks.
Since graduating from Goldsmiths College, Tegala has exhibited internationally, including the Whitechapel Art Gallery, Hayward Gallery, Kunsthallen Gothenberg, and the National Gallery of Denmark. In 2000 he was awarded a fellowship with the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts, NESTA and represented the UK in the 2003 Havana Biennial. Tegala has permanent work in the Science Museum, London and The James Dyson Building, Cambridge University Engineering Department. He developed the launch for the Cultural Olympiad for the East of England for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
